Released by Beyond Reasonable Doubt Investigations | Relaunched: December 2025
In August 2025, we released a song that was more than just music; it was a desperate plea for truth. "Justice for Lucy Letby" was created to cut through the noise of the mainstream media and deliver the facts of the case directly to the public.
Today, we are relaunching this campaign anthem. Why? Because the cracks in the prosecution's case are no longer hairline fractures—they are gaping holes. With new experts coming forward, statistical evidence being debunked, and the "air embolism" theory falling apart under scrutiny, this song is more relevant now than the day it was written.
We need you to listen, we need you to share, and we need you to help us #FreeLucy.

Why We Wrote This Song: Breaking Down the Flaws
We created this track at BRD Investigations because the complexity of the trial often stops people from seeing the truth. The song breaks down the specific areas where Lucy was failed by the justice system.
1. The "Air Embolism" Theory
The prosecution relied heavily on the theory that Lucy injected air into infants. However, as the song lyrics highlight, leading experts—including the specific work of Professor Shu Lee—suggest that the prosecution's experts fundamentally misunderstood the science. What was presented as murder is far more likely to have been natural causes or issues with medical equipment, such as dislodged breathing tubes.
2. The Contradictory Testimony (Dr Ravi Jayaram)
One of the most chilling verses in our song details the testimony of Dr Ravi Jayaram. In court, he described catching Lucy "doing nothing" while a baby desaturated. However, crucial email evidence suggests it was Lucy who called for assistance. This contradiction suggests that the narrative presented to the jury was constructed after the fact, yet this discrepancy was not enough to halt the trial.
3. The Insulin Evidence
Perhaps the most "scientific" looking evidence was the insulin levels. Yet, as we sing, these tests were "not made for forensic use." The immunoassay tests used are known to produce false positives and cannot distinguish between synthetic and natural insulin without a confirmatory test—a test that was never performed. A life sentence was handed down based on a screening test that the manufacturer explicitly states should not be used as definitive proof.
4. The "Confession" Notes
The media latched onto Lucy's scrawled notes ("I am evil") as a confession. We know these were the ramblings of a traumatised nurse, advised by therapy to write down her feelings of guilt and inadequacy—not guilt for murder, but the guilt of not being able to save the babies in her care. The song reclaims these notes for what they are: a cry for help, not an admission of a crime.
